CHELSEY NASH - WKC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OVERALL FIGHTING CHAMPION

Congratulations to CHELSEY NASH for capturing the first ever Overall Women’s Point Fighting Title at the 3rd WKC World Championships held in Cadiz, Spain on November 5, 2011.

The much anticipated duel between Nash and Top American fighter Morgan Plowden resulted in Nash blitzing her way to a 23 to 11 victory.  This victory solidifies and validates why she is considered Sport Karate’s Top Female Point Fighter to date.  Team Canada is proud of her accomplishments and is honoured to have her on the team!  Chelsey’s next stop is the WAKO World Championships in Dublin, Ireland to be held from November 21 to 27, 2011.  We wish Chelsey the best of luck and hope she brings home the Gold once again!
